The first Advanced Scope of Practice workshop for public sector Allied Health Professionals working in the Radiation and Imaging Stream is taking place on Thursday 1 June from 12:30 to 4:30pm.

If you are a VAHPA member and haven’t already registered you can do so here.

These training sessions provide public sector members with the perfect opportunity to access your new and hard won entitlement granting you paid union training leave. VAHPA will of course provide proof of attendance if requested by your employer to ensure compliance with the stipulations in your Enterprise Agreement.

VAHPA Delegate and Activist Training
VAHPA Members who are interested in improving their union chops should take this opportunity to book into the the upcoming Union delegate and activist training sessions. These courses are ideal for smart and committed AHPs and run over two days: 30 & 31 May and 14 & 15 June. These courses are open to all interested VAHPA Members.

Register here to make sure you don’t miss out on a place. VAHPA will of course provide you with all necessary paperwork upon request to ensure you get access to your paid union training leave.

Dates for training from July onward will be released shortly.

Family Violence in the Workplace Training
The wonderful Victorian Trades Hall Council is also running a series of one-day training courses for Union officials, delegates, workplace contacts, activists and employer representatives to ensure Domestic and Family Violence Leave clauses, found in increasing numbers of progressive Enterprise Agreements, are properly implemented.
