It will probably come as no surprise that one of the key elements in ensuring that Allied Health Professionals enjoy all the entitlements in their Agreements, is having trained VAHPA Members on site.
This year VAHPA have been running a two-day training course which is open to all VAHPA Members.
The course covers a range of topics including your entitlements and building strength at work as well as giving you tools and strategies to deal with a range of scenarios.
If you’re interested in better, more sustainable jobs (and who isn’t?) then this is the course for you!
Many Agreements include union training leave, often in a paid capacity so it’s worth checking out – you could be missing out!

VAHPA will then provide the letter to go with your Leave application. Assistance is also available to regional Members.
