The next union training course is just around the corner on May 9 & 10 (Tue & Wed). If you are interested in attending this course, please register ASAP so that we can forward the required letter to you to accompany your leave application.
Members in many workplaces have paid training leave and we are keen to see VAHPA Members and Delegates accessing this leave wherever possible. This is particularly the case for our Community Health Members about to embark on bargaining.
Our Public Sector Members have just gained 5 days paid Union Training Leave per annum in their new Agreement. This training is one of the keys to the successful implementation of the Agreement on the ground.
Some comments from recent attendees include, “Highly informative and empowering” and “I left feeling more in control of my situation at work, more informed, more confident that there is hope”. The training is accessible to all VAHPA Members.
There are also courses on May 30 & 21 (Tue & Wed) and June 14 & 15 (Wed & Thur).
