World Physiotherapy Day reflects on the vital work Physiotherapists do to improve the health of people with a wide range of health conditions. The focus this year is arthritis.
VAHPA Secretary Craig McGregor states that “VAHPA wishes all of our Physiotherapist members a very happy World Physiotherapy Day. You make a major contribution to the health of our communities and are important members of our Allied Health Professional teams. Physiotherapists have always been active and vocal members of VAHPA, and we appreciate your ongoing commitment to us as your Union.”
Australia has over 42,000 registered physiotherapists and World PT Day educates and explores the unique care they provide.
This year’s World Physiotherapy Day reflects on the vital work of Physiotherapists to improve the health of people with inflammation pain. People with arthritis rely on expert physiotherapy to help manage and improve their everyday living, fitness and strength. Flareups of inflammatory pain is supported and prevented under their care.
