VHPA urges it’s members to check their payslips for the rise in Superannuation.
Superannuation has risen .25% making super payments 9.5% of your wage. Make sure you’re receiving the rise by checking your payslip and comparing it with previous super payments.
Depending on your pay period, you should have received the new amount in your most recent pay slip if you find you’re not getting the extra amount, contact us on 1300 322 917.
I am a radiographer in the public sector.
I was under the impression that super was payed on gross pay. But have just found out that our leave loading component is subtracted first before super is calculated. Curious to know if any other component of our pay is subtracted first.
