The Fair Work Commission approved our Protected Action Ballot Order application meaning that the AEC will now conduct a ballot of Union Members at RIG about taking industrial action.
This is clearly is not something Members do lightly however, bargaining has been going on for a very long time and progress has clearly stalled.
The priority now is for all RIG staff who want to vote in the PABO ballot to ensure they are Union Members as only Members vote in a PABO ballot. Existing Members should check their name and address details are up-to-date and their employer records match their Union membership details.
