Royal Commission update

As reported in earlier newsletters, the HSU is one of a number of Unions referred to within the Heydon Royal Commission’s Terms of Reference set out in the Letters Patent.

Consequently, VHPA Branch Secretary Craig McGregor has been called to give evidence on what we believe to be matters relating to the previous incarnation of the Branch.

“This is a difficult time for all concerned. However we are, in line with our commitment to good governance, cooperating with the Commission where required. More importantly for members, we are working hard to ensure that we are not distracted by this process and that our energies remain focused on various industrial matters at hand.”
