Members working in the public health sector are due a salary increase that should start being paid on the first full pay period on or after 01 October 2014.
The increase is the second last one in the current agreement and sees employees receive a $17.50 or 1.25% increase on their base rate.
The VHPA recommend that all members check their pay slip carefully to ensure this increase has been properly processed.
The final increase is now less than a year away, due April 1 2015. It’s time to start thinking about what kind of improvements you’d like to see in the upcoming EA and the kind of strength and commitment required to bring about such improvements.
