Justice Richard Tracey on Friday set aside ten days, starting 29 June, to hear the HSU’s claim for Jackson to repay around $1.4 million of allegedly misappropriated funds to the Union.

The Union alleges that Jackson spend significant union funds on extravagant international holidays, personal expenses including alcohol and lavish dinners and as part of a settlement arrangement with her former husband.

It is expected that the matter will be referred to the Victorian Fraud Squad in the coming days.
