Management at Health Imaging Services, in keeping with their heavy-handed approach, have locked-out two further Health Professionals employees after a barbeque at Knox Private Hospital last Wednesday.

The move follows the lock-out of four members from their NORTHERN HOSPITAL site last Tuesday.

Despite the belligerent nature of HIS’s response, members continue to stand firm and demand a fair and reasonable outcome from these negotiations.

‘This is the kind of aggressive approach we have come to expect from HIS,’ notes VHPA Secretary Craig McGregor. ‘What management don’t seem to realise is that each of these attacks only works to strengthen members’ resolve.’

John Condliffe, a radiographer locked-out by HIS management last week, has urged his fellow members to remain strong in the face of these actions.

To find out more about John and his experiences at HIS you can find his profile here.

And don’t forget—the FUNDRAISER to support John and his fellow HIS members is next week!
