Royal Park members discussing Code Blue over a perfectly cooked snag.
VAHPA’s Code Blue festival-of-the-snag kicked off today with dozens of Royal Park Allied Health Professionals turning out to discuss the campaign.
The BBQs are part of a series of Code Blue events aimed at getting AHPs together and increasing the profile of the campaign.
“Today marks the start of the next phase of the campaign,” noted VAHPA Secretary, Craig McGregor. “Allied Health Professionals are starting to make some noise.”
“We need to be unified, active and very visible if we are to be successful. Today was a great start,” concluded McGregor.
Look out for a lunchtime (12-1pm) BBQ near you throughout December:
- Wed 2 December, Monash Dandenong, David St, Dandenong
- Wed 9 December, Alfred Hospital, Fawkner Park, Commercial Road, Prahran (near Helipad)
- Wed 16 December, Western Hospital & Peter Mac, Sunshine Campus
All Allied Health Professionals are more than welcome—don’t be shy, bring your colleagues, ask them to join VAHPA and get your Code Blue t-shirt; you are going to need it throughout the campaign!
If you have an idea for a Code Blue event in your workplace, please contact your VAHPA Organiser.
The vegetarian sausages were truly delicious!
