Twenty exciting career advancement opportunities have been created out of the recent EBA negotiations with the Andrews State Government. Ten EFT Grade 4 Allied Health Research and Translation positions are to be created across the state. These positions have been developed to create a transitional link between research outcomes and the general clinical application in the workplace. These roles will provide a genuine opportunity to translate evidence based knowledge into practice and improve the quality, outcomes and delivery of health care across Victoria.

A further 10 EFT Grade 3 Allied Health Clinical Educator positions are to be created across the state. These positions have been allocated in direct response to the need for greater recognition of quality clinical supervision and education in our public hospitals. These new positions will provide opportunities for advancement in the educational stream and support the development of educational pathways for existing allied health staff.

Attached below are the Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the Allied Health Research and Translation Positions and the Allied Health Clinical Educator Positions.

Whilst individual AHPs cannot apply directly, you can get your health service to lodge an EOI. We encourage VAHPA members with an interest in either of these roles to ask managers or team leaders to lodge an EOI; as the closing date is 1 May, this is definitely something to raise with them ASAP.
