Big pay rises due this week for Healthscope and SEPC

Home / Bargaining / Big pay rises due this week for Healthscope and SEPC

Big pay rises are due this week for Health Professionals at Healthscope and South East Palliative Care (SEPC).

Health Professionals (HPs) can expect lump sums ranging upwards from $1,800 to more than $5,000 in their next pay packet now that new Enterprise Agreements have been finalised for both of these employers.

The Healthscope Enterprise Agreement delivers HPs a total pay rise of 8.75%. This is 1.25% better than management’s original proposal and will deliver the average full time Health Professional  (Grade 2, year 5) a salary increase of $6,600 over the life of the Agreement.

The VHPA achieved an even better result with the SEPC Enterprise Agreement. SEPC Health Professionals will get around $5,900 in back pay and a lump sum now that the Fair Work Commission has approved the Agreement.

The SEPC Agreement also provides for improved compassionate leave, union delegate leave; and better entitlements around sick leave, consultation, dispute resolution and a grading review.
