In a strong sign of confidence in our financial management and administration, the independent auditor has ticked off on the VHPA’s Annual Financial Report.

The audited VHPA Annual Financial Report shows a healthy final surplus of $180,898 for the period 21 August 2012 until 30 June 2013.

This substantial surplus was achieved during a period of great change for the Union following the demerger of the HSU East and the replacement of the Federal Court-appointed Administrator with the newly elected leadership.

“This is a great result considering the situation we were in after taking office just on a year ago,” said VHPA Secretary Craig McGregor.

“I’d personally like to thank the Branch Committee of Management, our dedicated Finance and Services Manager, Neil Bowker, and all of our other staff for their contribution to our healthy bottom line.”

The Branch Committee of Management (BCOM) approved the VHPA Annual Financial Report on Monday this week.
