Advanced Scope Workshops – CPD eligible

The first VAHPA Advanced Scope Workshop is on in 3 weeks!  Have you registered yet?

The new Public Sector Agreement now recognises, for the first time, that Allied Health Professionals are working in the Advanced Practice space.  This provides great opportunities for recognition and advancement. However, there is much work to do around what is and/or isn’t considered to be advanced practice in each profession.

VAHPA will be convening half-day workshops for Members and Delegates to come together to explore this issue and to gain knowledge of this element of the Agreement.

The first two workshops are as follows:

Therapeutic & Clinical Stream: May 2, 12:30-4:30
Radiation & Imaging Stream, June 1, 12:30-4:30

VAHPA Members can access the Union Training Leave in their new Agreement and VAHPA will supply Members with a letter to accompany leave applications.  These workshops will also count towards CPD.
