Stopping Gendered Violence

Home / News / Stopping Gendered Violence

The Victorian Trades Hall Council (VTHC) is running a one-day conference and skills training workshop entitled ‘Taking Action to Stop Gendered Violence at Work” on 2 March 2017 from 9am to 3pm.

Gendered violence is violence perpetrated against women because they are women.  Over 60% of women who participated in a VTHC study indicated they had experienced bullying, harassment or violence in the workplace and reported feeling unsafe at work.

VAHPA Members may be able to access paid Union Training leave to attend this course.   Supporting documentation will be provided to accompany your leave application.

If you are interested in attending this training, please contact Carly Bald on 1300 322 917 or via email carly.bald@vahpa.asn.au
