The VHIA has today written to the payroll departments of all relevant public sector employers to confirm that the lump sum payment of $1561 (pro-rata for part time employees) agreed to as part of the recently voted up Allied Health Enterprise Agreement is to be paid asap. This comes after governmental authorisation was granted following the successful employee ballot.
VAHPA has expressed the strong view that this payment should be made immediately as an offline payment to ensure that employees have this money in their accounts prior to Christmas.
