Further to our recent e-News, VAHPA have been working with the VHIA to ensure that the Agreement is put to ballot as soon as possible. We anticipate confirmation of the ballot details by this Thursday and will have an update out to you all this Friday 18 November.
The more pressing issue at the moment is the payment of the lump sum payment which we want paid now rather than post the Agreement being voted on and approved. This is consistent with the treatment of the Nurses Agreement.
We know how important it is to all our Allied Health Members in the Public Sector; we need Members to demonstrate this too!

VAHPA Members fought for an improved Agreement and won it. That we now have to fight for the delivery of this is disappointing but the message needs to be clear: If fight we must, fight we will!
