VAHPA provides a range of member benefits for Victoria’s Allied Health Professionals. Benefits include workplace advice, collective bargaining, professional indemnity, advocacy, free legal advice, plus other benefits and discounts.
Referral to legal services
Members may be eligible, upon referral from VAHPA, to access free legal advice services from Australia’s leading industrial and personal injury law firm, Maurice Blackburn.

Services available for members through Maurice Blackburn include:
Free first consultation – all Members and their families may receive an appointment upon request and referral by VAHPA. The first consultation is provided free of charge.
Free Will – all Members, and their partners, are entitled to a free standard Will every five years. There is no cost to the union or members for this service.

“No win – no fee” for personal injury matters. Members will not be charged for Maurice Blackburn’s professional costs if it is recommended you proceed with a claim and are unsuccessful.
