Single enterprise means that, instead of negotiating separate agreements workplace by workplace, this agreement allows workers and employers to come together to bargain collectively.
This collective approach creates a stronger, united front, giving workers more power to win fair pay, better conditions, and long-term improvements across the sector.
Because together, we have power in unity!
The Allied Health workforce in the Public Sector is built on the dedication, compassion, and professionalism of its workforce, yet too often, workers are undervalued, underpaid, and overworked.
VAHPA members have been clear that these negotiations should focus on:
- Lifting standards across the sector
- Securing fair pay and conditions for all allied health workers
- Reducing inequality between professions/crafts
- Creating consistency and stability for all allied health workers across the sector.
By uniting Allied Health workers, our voices are louder—and harder to ignore.
Our single, coordinated VAHPA campaign aims to:
- Raise the public profile of our issues
- Put pressure on government to act
- Set a clear direction for the future of Public Health
- Build solidarity between workers across the sector
With one agreement, we send a powerful message:
We won’t be divided, and we will fight to win!
To make this campaign a success, we need to get all Allied Health workers in the Public Sector to join VAHPA and get active!
