Tom Fooks commenced working in industrial relations in 2009 as an Associate at the Australian Industrial Relations Commission and then at Fair Work Australia (now the Fair Work Commission).
Following a period of work as a research assistant at the Centre for Employment and Labour Relations Law at Melbourne Law School, Tom commenced working in the union movement as an organiser for United Voice in 2013. Tom then moved to work as an organiser and subsequently an industrial officer at Professionals Australia.
Tom was admitted to practise law in 2016 and holds a current Australian Practising Certificate.
Tom commenced work as an industrial officer at VAHPA in 2019.
