Finding the Money will screen Friday 8th March 2024 at 7pm, Solidarity Hall, Victorian Trades Council.

It is said by many politicians and economists that we “cannot afford” high quality well-resourced public healthcare in Australia.

This film about a new approach to understanding government debt and funding – utilising “Modern Money Theory” – takes issue with that perspective.

While “Modern Money Theory” has its own critics, and is considered controversial, it may be of interest to members who are interested in learning more about the challenges facing the funding of the health care system.
