Statements made by management about long service leave that appear to be misleading are one of several reasons why the Fair Work Commission should reject the Healthe Care Enterprise Agreement (EA) says the Victorian Health Professionals Association (VHPA).
In a recent declaration to the Fair Work Commission, the VHPA pointed out that it appears that Healthe Care misled staff in relation to their entitlements and failed to adequately provide information, including about the national Employment Standards (NES).
“Healthe Care management have twice tried to push through a sub-standard Enterprise Agreement,” said Alex Lesczcynski, VHPA Senior Industrial Coordinator.
“While we have already won Health Professionals a better pay rise and better procedures for dispute resolution and disciplinary matters, our members deserve better.”
