VAHPA is standing up for Community Health workers in Victoria in their fight for fair pay and conditions.
We have now completed the series of bargaining meetings with the VHIA agreed to last year via the Fair Work process resulting from our Majority Support Petition applications.
Whilst progress has been made resulting in some claims being ‘agreed’, there is still much outstanding. Crucially many of these are around key items such as workload, classification structure and KPIs.
In addition, the pay offer does not maintain parity with Public Sector AHPs or even with other AHPs within Community Health such as Dieticians.
